After closing the pre-registration period with 266 registered runners, the organization held the lottery today to assign spots for the most international and ambitious edition in its history.
The Pyrenees Stage Run (PSR) continues to make history. Today, December 19th, the lottery to assign spots for the 2026 edition took place after the pre-registration process far exceeded the participation limit established for the “Full Experience” modality.
Success in numbers Interest in the 10th anniversary edition of the PSR has been clearly reflected in the pre-registration data collected between December 5th and 14th:

Massive turnout: A total of 266 pre-registered runners across 128 teams.

Focus on the Full Experience: 100% of the teams chose the “Full Experience” modality , triggering the lottery as it surpassed the 130-participant limit.

Team dynamics: The vast majority of teams (92%) are pairs, while 8% opted for the three-member format.

17% of pre-registered runners have previously participated in the PSR.

15% come from other races organized by BiFree, such as the CBSR or BRAMA.

The Pyrenees Stage Run is organised by BiFree Sports, a company with extensive experience in organising stage races. In addition to the PSR, they also manage the Costa Brava Stage Run and the Brama Stage Run, events that stand out for offering a unique experience of adventure and challenge in spectacular natural environments.
