I love to be out in nature, and trail running gives the ultimate perspective to scenic mountain vistas, fabulous races, or fun group training. I like challenging courses and multi-day events, which allow to fully immerse myself in the atmosphere both physically and spiritually. Pursuing the best finishing times is not a priority.

I am a 57-year-old female trail runner from the Düsseldorf area in Germany and I am looking for a teammate for the Pyrenees Stage Run 2027.

My goal for PSR 2027 is simple: to arrive at the finish line with joy, good teamwork and unforgettable memories. I enjoy running efficiently and steadily, but I am not chasing a podium position. Reliability, a positive attitude and enjoying the experience together are more important to me than speed.

I’ve already hiked the GR11 and completely fell in love with the Pyrenees. I have solid trail running experience and really enjoy long days in the mountains. This year I took part in the Transalpine Run, Terra Raetica Trails and the Zugspitz Ultra. I’m not super fast, but I love running, moving efficiently in the mountains and enjoying the experience. The Pyrenees Stage Run would be my highlight of next year, and I’m looking forward to sharing the adventure in a like-minded running team.

I started adventure racing when I was 34 years old and then quickly moved to ultra running and long distance mountain bike races. Most recently to Nordic skiing.
I reside in Toronto Canada, but my background is Slovak and Czech.
I speak English, Slovak and some Spanish and French.
I love being in the mountains and have always been a middle of the pack runner.
I love the stage race format and really just want to get out on the trains and new scenery, meet new people from all around the world.
