The Asturian team, composed by Jose Pedro Bayón and Pedro Rodríguez, won the Pyrenees Stage Run second edition. They had already crossed the final line three times in first position, and today they did it again. In a rainy day from Espot (Pallars Sobirà), and despite the cold in the highest parts of the track, they reached the finish line in Salardú (Vall d’Aran) after 32km in 3:52:02. At the arrival, they didn’t hide their satisfaction: “We are very satisfied with the PSR. It has it all: an amazing track and landscape, and the organization is great, we had never felt so supported. The format in stages and teams is very attractive. I would recommend this race to everybody doubtlessly”.
After them, the Catalan team Hankersports BiFree arrived, who were struggling for the victory until the end and got the second position. Their faces showed the satisfaction for having succeeded in a challenge like the PSR. The global third position was for the Austrian team ATSV Nurmi Ternitz, who slowed down from the third stage and enjoyed the rest of the stages.
In the women section, the Swedish team Salomon Swedenskimogirls was the only one for this category, they really enjoyed the Pyrenees. We hope to have more female teams in the future editions of the PSR!
This is how the PSR new edition ends. A second edition that has duplicated the teams participating, and which keeps on trying to offer a quality product above all, where all the runners feel like at home and really enjoy, as we do, the breathtaking landscapes that our Pyrenees hide.
Long life the PSR!
