The sixth stage is the penultimate of the PSR (34.2km and 2,530m D+), from Tavascan to Espot, it goes across the Cardós and Àneu valleys, with a vertical kilometre and an ascent to the Serra Plana. The track went through picturesque villages like: Lleret, Estaon and Dorve, an abandoned mountain village, one of those places where it seems that the time has stopped. At the finish line in Espot, we entered the Aigüestortes and Sant Maurici National Park.

Huevos León Asturias worked hard for the victory, and won on the day of their autonomous region: “We have regulated our strength during the track, keeping the distance with Hankersports, who worked hard too. We dedicate this victory to all the Asturian people”. Another victory for the Asturian team, before the deciding stage, a tight final, with a difference of at least eighteen minutes between the Asturian and the Catalan team.

The last stage of this edition, between Espot and Salardú, has been modified as a security measure due to the weather forecast for tomorrow. The track until the hard ascent to the Coll de Fogueruix hasn’t been modified, but from there, instead of going across the Aigüestortes and Sant Maurici National Park, the track will descend until the Gerdar refuge across the Plan d’Estaro and the Cabanes valley. A beautiful way among trees and surrounded by amazing waterfalls will lead the runners to the Port de la Bonaigua and, through the Ruda valley, they will get to the finish line in Salardú, after 33km and 1,700m +D.
